Buster James are the real deal, born to perform their own brand of Rock and Blues to any audience, their line-up contains players who have performed to audiences worldwide and recorded with artists as diverse as Steve Marriott, Dire Straits, Dave Stewart, Bill Wyman, FM and Iron Maiden.

The band has four albums currently available, containing mainly self-penned material and their unique versions of classics such as Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well" and Neil Young's "Rocking in the free world".

In Roger James, they have one of the finest crowd motivators in the country.  His big voice is driven by the powerhouse rhythm section of Paul Hale (Percussion) and Del Fletcher (Bass).  The Guitar work of Mark Holmes and Richard Young on Keyboards/Guitar, complete one of the most inventive and exciting rock line-ups in the business.

What people say about The Buster James Band

The Apex, Bury 2019.

Just a quick thank you....was at the Monsters gig at the Apex in Bury on Friday. You guys smashed it, bloody awesome, absolutely loved your fantastic musicianship, quality performance. Your own songs were great and the whole set was fantastic. Cheers !!

Apex last night was great, brilliant finale. Have heard you on Radio Caroline. You know how to work the audience to make them enjoy themselves.

BBC Radio Suffolk.

Stephen Foster wrote: "Next week on my BBC Radio Suffolk show it will give me great pleasure to feature the new album by one of my all time favourite East Anglian bands - Buster James. A track every night at 6-30pm. Once you've got it, you never lose it and after more than 40 years on the scene they remain s**t hot. Check them out. Their rendition of Jesus Just Left Chicago is every bit as good as the ZZ Top original."

Midland Rocks.

There was a definite buzz in the room as the time for the appearance of the legendary Buster James drew ever closer. The first of the band’s two sets at this festival, Buster James was immediately in his groove, opening with the catchy ‘Western Heart’ and then urging the crowd to “start working it because it’s Thursday night, who gives a ****!”  A menu of A La Carte Blues rock was cooked up by these purveyors of the genre and enthusiastically digested by the party animals now well into the swing of things.

Well Buster James certainly rocked tonight, best band by a country mile to play down here for a long

time.  Roger had everyone in the palm of his hand, as it should be, never seen so many people really getting involved.
